This August, we’re launching an image series dedicated to capturing these legendary bombers soaring low over the English Channel. Douglas Dakotas Across the Southern Coast

Following the Lancaster series, we’ll pivot to another legendary workhorse of the skies: the Douglas Dakota. Also known as the C-47 Skytrain, the Dakota was a vital lifeline during the war - delivering troops, towing gliders, and air-dropping supplies across the European theatre.

Our Dakota collection will show these aircraft flying over the southern English coast, tracing flight paths that echo D-Day and Operation Market Garden.
